About Marcia
Meet me, Marcia, the driving force behind Ultra Instinct and an incredible partner in the venture. At 27 years old, I have embraced numerous roles: an enthusiastic educator, a dedicated cat mom, and now, the dynamic CEO of Ultra Instinct. My passion for anime began in my childhood in Haiti while I was learning English. This early exposure to anime instilled a deep-seated confidence that has guided me through life’s challenges. Today, I apply that same passion and dedication to propel Ultra Instinct forward.

For me, anime has been a lifelong passion, starting from my childhood in Haiti where it served as my window to a world of compelling characters and transformative stories. Each narrative taught me about courage, resilience, and the importance of authenticity. These lessons forged a resilience that has been my anchor through all of life’s challenges.
Teaching and Inspiring the Youth
By day, I am an English teacher, guiding young minds in appreciating the nuances of language and storytelling. My love for anime serves as a bridge to my students, inspiring them to discover and express their unique voices. It is profoundly rewarding to see how the same stories that shaped my life are now sparking creativity and confidence in the next generation.

Welcome to Ultra Instinct. My name is Miguel, and this is my story.
Growing up in Manhattan, New York, anime and pop culture were my sanctuary. They provided an escape, fueled my passion, and became a part of my identity. Living with ADD and mild autism, these vibrant worlds offered a sense of belonging and understanding that was hard to find elsewhere.
The Vision of Ultra Instinct
After graduating from art school and grappling with a disability that kept me from traditional employment for years, I poured all my creativity and love for anime into founding Ultra Instinct. This brand represents my journey of overcoming adversity, including the profound loss of my youngest brother, embracing uniqueness, and transforming challenges into artistic expression. Each design is crafted with dedication, inspired by the characters and stories that have shaped who I am.
The Birth of Ultra Instinct
Ultra Instinct is more than just an apparel brand—it’s an extension of my soul. After facing numerous personal and professional challenges, I turned to my passion for anime to create something tangible, something that others could wear and feel empowered by. This brand is my way of converting adversity into art, keeping my brother's memory alive with each piece reflecting a part of my journey and experiences.
